2023-microsoft-most-valuable-professional-mvp

I can happily confirm that I have again be recognised by Microsoft again as an Most Valued Professional (MVP) in the Office 365 Apps and Services category for 2023 – 2024.

As always, I’m humbled by the recognition and thank Microsoft for awarding this to me and also making the program available. This is my 12 consecutive year as an MVP and I am very proud of that achievement, given the rapid pace of change with technology and especially the Microsoft 365 platform.

Being an MVP allows me to better share my knowledge of the M365 service with others. It provides me the ability to interact with s skilful set of peers who are also MVPs as well as with people at Microsoft directly. That is very beneficial to getting even more to grips with what M365 can do and the change it can make for businesses, especially small businesses.

I look forward to continuing to doing my best into the future around helping people understand M365 through mediums such as this blog, my podcast and YouTube channel. The core of being an MVP is that you love to help others with Microsoft technology so if you have a question, I’m all ears.

Again, I thank Microsoft for the recognition and I look forward to sharing even more going forward..

I am happy to report that I have been renewed as an MVP for 2021-22. That now makes me a 10 year veteran of the program. I am very proud of that achievement in an ever changing technology environment.

As always, thanks to Microsoft for the recognition, for the last, and every other year. I am proud and honoured to be part of the MVP community and the amazing people there. The MVP community, as always, is an inspiring place to be and a group of individuals who love sharing, learning and helping others. Their influence and interactions continue to help me improve both professionally and personally.

I need to also thank everyone who takes the time to do things like read and comment on my blog, watch my YouTube channel, use my Github repo, attend events where I speak and more. Thanks everyone, I really do appreciate it. It is always good to understand the impact you are having out there.

Going forward, it seems we are in for more uncertain times, and we all know technology will continue to rapidly evolve. The best mindset to use is to look at both of these as a challenge not a burden. I appreciate that maybe difficult but you’d be amazed at what an open minded approach can achieve. Change what you can and be at peace with what you can’t, is a good recipe to strive for.

Once again, thanks to Microsoft for this award. I will continue to work hard to live up to the expectations of program going forward and thanks to everyone else out there who has been part of this journey with me.

MVP for 2020-21

It is with pride that Microsoft has again graciously awarded me as a Most Valued Professional (MVP) for 2020 in the Office Servers and Services category. This makes it now nine awards in a row for me. I thank Microsoft for this special award and acknowledge the responsibilities it entails.

This award is not possible without members of the community out there who take the time to do things like read and comment on my blog, watch my YouTube channel, attend events where I speak and more. Thanks everyone.

It is great to see the growth in recent years of the Microsoft Cloud technologies and the increasing number of people adopting them. It is something that continues to add so many new features it is hard to keep up. For me, that makes it really exciting and something I am always keen to be involved with. I enjoy the constant challenge of staying on top of everything in the space. I’m also keen to share that journey with others and help others solve problems and make the most from their technology investments.

The end of the past twelve months has been a very different place from the initial. The world we live is now a very different place from what it used to be. It has changed dramatically and we must all adapt to the new environment that has been forced upon us. Success in this new world will be with the help of others. That means being part of a community and working for the collective good. Being an MVP is being part of a unique worldwide community of very dedicated and smart people who truly love to share their knowledge. They are the benchmark that I aspire to, both technically and professionally. I therefore take the opportunity to also congratulate all those who were also awarded for this year. It is a great community to be part of and I am honoured to be a part.

Again, I thank Microsoft for this honour and will work hard to live up to the expectations it sets again for 2020-21, for without them and their technology, this award would not be possible.
