Welcome to May and to another Need to Know webinar where you can learn all about the Microsoft cloud. As usual we’ll cover off all the latest Office 365 news (and there will be plenty this month) and I’ll also open the floor to any general questions. Our deep dive focus this month will be on the heart and soul of SharePoint – Document Libraries. You’ll learn how to get more from the locations you store files in SharePoint. If you use SharePoint Online, this is not a session to miss.

I think the key slide to help explain the new world Microsoft Teams brings us is shown above. Basically, Microsoft Teams brings a significant shift in the way collaboration is conducted inside an organisation as well as who is in control of that environment. Users are demanding the tools that Microsoft Teams provides and have working with them using Shadow IT. Microsoft Teams provides the latest collaboration features easily provisioned without the need for an IT Administrator.

These changes are great for users but bring challenges for IT Admins. If you want to hear more details about these and what Microsoft Teams can provide your business have a listen to to the webinar recording.

February 2017 Microsoft Cloud Updates

Thanks to the good folk at Ingram Micro Cloud Australia, I’ve uploaded my part of a recent webinar they hosted.

My presentation was around providing information around some of the most recent and relevant updates to both the Office 365 and Azure platforms.

It was great to be given the opportunity to do a session like this because I have been toying with doing something similar so I thought I’d produce something and see what people think?

I’ve used a couple of new techniques and technologies during the process so I’m keen to hear what people think about:

– the content

– the format

– the look and feel

Finally, I’d also like to know whether you’d like to see me continue to do these style of video updates around Azure and Office 365 once a month?
